Jackson Pollock

This is a page from my sketchbook inspired by Jackson Pollock. The marks overlap and are tightly composed which relates to the work or Jackson Pollock. I have developed this page by applying the marks more freely and using bright colours to make it vibrant and exciting. I chose to do this because I am able to develop it in many different areas and use this technique to produce variety of outcomes. Using paint was a good choice because it is free and flowing which helped create the movement of the marks. If I was to develope this I would introduce a variation of colour and texture to give it more depth.
